Dr. Lauren Veatch was born and raised in Granger and Walkerton, IN where she grew up riding and working with horses for western pleasure and 4H. She joined the Appalachian team in July 2016 after falling in love with the practice, people and surrounding mountains. She received her BS from Indiana University in 2009 and her DVM from the St. George’s University 2015 and completed an internship in Wellington, FL at Reid and Associates. Her areas of special interest include colic, sports medicine, including chiropractic and acupuncture treatment, and dentistry. Dr. Veatch’s personal interests include water sports, hiking, trail riding with her horses, traveling abroad and spending time with family.
She currently has three quarter horses named Slick, Little Guy, and Teddy, and two dogs, named Rhea and Zeva.
